Shark Courses

Sharklife has been developing high quality educational shark materials since 2007. You can choose from any of the shark courses which are designed to introduce students to a range of shark species with great quizzes and exams to help you learn. 

Shark Workshops

It's FREE!

5 Different Shark Species:

  1. Ragged-tooth Shark
  2. Tiger Shark
  3. Bull Shark
  4. Hammerhead Shark
  5. Whale Shark

Workshops consist of:

  • Sessions are once a week on Tuesday evenings from 19:00 to 20:30 (Please see our Facebook Events for dates)
  • 3 weeks per shark (3 Sessions)
  • Informal classroom presentation & discussions
  • Light refreshments
  • Short exam

The Shark Workshops are presented at our Dive & Conservation Center in Gordon's Bay, or on location if requested. Click on the Book Now button below to let us know that you will be joining.

To develop a compassionate desire to conserve sharks by replacing the "Jaws" syndrome with positive understanding and respect.

Reduce anthropogenic threats to over exploited marine species by increasing awareness and encouraging sustainable seafood choices.

Evolve shark populations into sustainable living resources by promoting educational ocean experiences for all South African’s.

Dive Against Debris®

Project AWARE’s flagship citizen-science program, Dive Against Debris®, empowers scuba divers to remove marine debris from the ocean and report data on the types, quantities and locations of materials collected.
